Walk Off Hunger and SummerFest '09
July 8,
2009 Dear Fellow Congregants:
As you hopefully
know by now, we are well underway with our plans for this
years Summerfest, which will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2009
from 11 am to 5 pm, following the Walk Off Hunger. Our
committee has done our very best to meet the creative vision
that Cantor Susan Wehle had for this noble
event.
We have
scheduled lots of activities and entertainment for the entire
family including:
o
Live Band
o
Fusion Dancing
o
Cantor Susan Wehle’s Drumming Group
o
Belly Dancing
o
Hindu Performances
o
Ferris Wheel
o 20
Foot Slide
o
Train Rides
o
Gymnastics Demonstration
o
Master Chong Demonstration
o
Drill Team
o
Delicious Ethnic Food
o
Much, much more!
In addition, we
have confirmed attendance from almost every synagogue in the
area including: Temple Sinai, Temple Beth Zedek, Kehillat Ohr
Tzion, and Temple Beth Zion. This truly is a community wide
event and we hope you make every effort possible to
participate.
It is our
determined goal that the delight, perspective and inspiration
we foster today will enrich our tomorrows for decades to come.
We want your attendance and encourage you to explore our
Summerfest, Susan’s Summerfest, and enjoy our array of
excitement and entertainment.
Warm
regards,
Renee
